The First of Many (MPLS pt 1)

The first few minutes back in minneapolis were crazy. I ran into the best people. Special spanks to Roomie, Future-Roo, and Girlie-Roo for the airport swoop and late night chicken finger run.

Alamo (not Drafthouse) THE Alamo

Kinda a let down. I mean, I wasn't holding my breath to see the Alamo or anything...but really? That's it?

San Antonio is a strange town and it makes you do strange things. It's two big attractions are The Alamo and the Riverwalk. The latter pretty much consisting of a mall ontop of the river. The Austin City Council wants to do something similar here. They'd like to relocate or remove the bars in the Red River district (Beauty Bar, Red 7, Plush, Creekside, etc) to make room for development. You can guess how I feel about ideas like that.

Just a warning. Don't ever eat at Pat O'Brien's. You'll seriously regret the shitty food, service and music. If you do eat there, don't order the hurricane.
