Big news on the BF front - and since he's the only one who reads this thing he should be smiling right now. FINALLY!!! Quit the park and is moving on to bigger & better things.
Too bad Sam stole my bf from me - or we'd be hanging out right this very second celebrating!
Jen, Riddle, & Youtsos left (are leaving) today for the most amazing trip! Riddle will be spending the first leg of EuroTrip with Jen & Youtsos - then meeting her grandmother for a cruise in Greek Isles. Jen & Youtsos will be gone for a total of 7 weeks; god - when they come back are they going to smell like hippies and have joined a jam band!
Other BIG news! My hottie boo tottie amiga de Puerto Rico, Tanya will be here June 7 - 11! Holla (no - not hola)

Fishbowl
Best day of Spring 2007!
Lucky me - I got free tickets to the Twins game (and a free dome dog & soda). Even though it was a shut-out, and not in our favor, it was a great time. And I wasn't at work. Lisa just happened to be sitting in the same section & row that I was - very random. I did have to hit work for about an hour after the game, but then Ms. Undem & the Barbie picked my up.
We met Stacy, Amanda, Jen & Christina for a drink (or four) at Solera and enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous weather. After a few white wine sangria's we decided we need some substance. Chipotle & Noodles did the trick.
2 fishbowls @ Prestons later meant it was time to head home. Jen & Christina on the other hand decided to close down the Mecca. Those girls craaaazy. All in all - a great spring day. Now I've got to get back to work.

KIDS - and I don't mean the movie
So I had to work at La last night and those kids just about killed me. I'm not kidding. They exhaust me - to say the least. Man - when google image "kids" you get a lot of crazy stuff
Check this out.
And why not this while you're at it - Kids.
All I'm saying is that the kids last night combined with the joy of google image is just too much.
On a happier note I watched Casino Royale last night - for like the 7th time. I might have a new favorite Bond - I'm sorry Sean, but Daniel Craig is sick.

Lagging
I have been lagging on the posts - but work's been busy; and what am I suppossed to do...make everyone happy. No way.
So let's take a trip down memory lane. Calsurf Video premiere was pretty great, saw some more locs crawl out of the woodwork; what is this - like 7 weekends in a row of people I don't see anymore! Mike swears he gave me $100 bucks (he owed me) before the premiere; and I somehow only made it home with $40...damn...$60 in one night - harsh. We were only at 1 spot!
Sunday night was a celebration of great sorts - TG's BD! Nice quiet time at Lucia's - would you believe they make a great dirty martini there? Even if the bff & I got into a little tiff - it's all good now - just don't touch my food!
A little birdie told me Sam will be back in town for the summer as of this upcoming weekend - whoah! prepare to not even know he's here - he's that busy! He's booked for weeks straight, so don't even try to get in (unless you've got a bribe). (or you're a hot babe).
Not much else to report on the home front - check this out and have a laugh:

Extreme Weekend-Round 2. Or is it Round 3?
Mike's right. This should just be called Extreme Spring. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I feel like I'm drinking like an 18 year old. That's saying a lot.
Multiple weekends at the NE Palace never did anything bad to a person. Then we top that off with TOP SHOP - hot damn. Not that I want my blog to be like this, this, or this - but I should mention some of the festivities of the past weekend. (And I'm not hating - just saying I'm not copying what's already out there). It was Spring Jam at the University of Minnesota - and if you know where I live you know that spells disaster for a good night's sleep...unless you happen to be drunk yourself...which I was. Friday started off with a bang - got to see my boo skate one run - and help position Cal in the #7 spot - not bad. I forced myslef into a tiny dress with a tight belt - rave reviews; but I felt a fool in front of skate dudes in an empty bar. Thanks for letting me borrow it Stacy - it was hot. FYI - City Billiards aka New City is not the place to be on a Friday night. Or any other night. Even if you have a party bus.
The Triple Rock on the other hand was a good time had by all. Met some guys from Hotlanta that were a riot - apparently every slang word EVER is from Atlanta. Who knew?
Saturday - more skateboarding, more burgers, and a detour to baja for the man. Bonni and I held it down pretty solid during the day Saturday - and during the night. 1 bottle of Bubbly was gone before you knew it (and that was just me). There was a point when I asked Olu if I should stop drinking...then I was embarrassed. Enough said. Saturday was good times - booze - and good times. Too bad Tuck & Stace had to bail early, but at least they made an appearance!
Not much else to say. Contest ended Sunday. Good to see a few people, great to see a few others. See you all on Friday.

Extreme Weekend
Anyone who missed this weekend's festivities is totally lame. And I mean totally. Most extreme weekend in recent memory to say the least. Friday night started out strong with the girls & a jarra of sangria...doesn't get much better. Drinks by the river and a pit-stop at a gallery w/ the BF and Tuck187. Sarah's convinced she should quit nursing school and become an artist. I don't know how many times I heard her exclaim "$5,000! Who would pay $5,000!!!" "$400. So not worth it!"
We continued the night of fun with a swing over to NordEast. Let the good times roll. I don't really remember too much detail. We started at the NE Palace...made our way to Mayslack's (thanks to the guy at the door who let us all in w/o having to pay cover!) and ate our way into happiness with awesome food. We tried to hit the Deuce Deuce to "up the epicocity" but they were closing so we hit some other spot (maybe Grumpys?) and played darts and drank our sorrows away.
Saturday Night:
I missed the daytime Tre Day scene, but made up for it by partying like I was 18 at Nye's...ask anyone. Stacy and I know how to get it down; so we started happy hour out proper. Then it was on to meet up w/ the girls and kill ourselves over a couple cheap drinks for an hour DT. Nye's appeared before our eyes a short while later - and the rest is history. It was serious fun to see everyone - lots of people always pop out of the woodwork for stuff like this (although there were a few people I was suprised to not see in attendance - haters). HUGE thank you to Sam for letting us ride out the night in style with a pit stop at the Graves. Once you know luxury it's hard to go back to the couch (or Super8). Hopefully we can replicate a good time this upcoming weekend; but I don't think it will top what went down this past.
