The sweet corn in that photo looks so fucking good. No joke, the thing I miss most about Minnesota at this very minute is the sweet corn.
I missed the state fair sweet corn booth and now this upsets me even more. I went to the whole foods yesterday by my house and the sweet corn selection there is a fucking joke. It looks like shit plus they're charging the same amount for 3 ears that I could get a dozen out of the back of some farmers truck.
oh god this is sooo good, makes me think of back home, i love it so much!!! Every single picture is like a piece of the puzzle that adds up to my ideal image of a midwest summer!
Thanks you guys - this was a really great weekend and I'm really glad that it made you guys feel that same way.
Scott - I feel you - I LOVE the sweetcorn at the fair and I've been making sure to eat some off the grill a lot too. Move back and you can have all the corn you want!
