Holy Shit it's August (and we BBQ)

It's FINALLY summer and we've finally started acting like it. Week recap:

Mr. Damiano had a lovely idea last week. I had resigned myself to a quiet evening of music and reading when he called, and said something to the effect of, "Yo. We haven't kicked it for a while. I'm coming over to drink beers. I'll call Sam."



Sam was at AmAp, but Mike showed up and Tucker got home from work and a proper stoop sess went down. Post-stoop we looked at US Weekly ^^^. SO many fun games come out of that hag rag.

Then they started skateboarding. I belive skate ended when Ryan fell on his ass.

A few days later Nora and I laid out by her pool all afternoon, it was lovely. Exactly the summertime does of sun I needed.

Then she came over on Saturday wearing that AMAZING tie ^ and we went to Nye's (boooooo). I fucking hate the "Best Bar in America"

Benji & Lou were there (as well as all of the usual skate heads).

THEN - this HUGE HUGE HUGE fucking pigeon was spotted. These photos don't do this king daddy justice.

He had a mate. She was also a goliath.

So, I tried to bring a party home from the bar Saturday. That didn't work so well, so instead we had another stoop session and drank Tecate. Weird.

Sunday Dinner BBQ.
The odds were against us:
It started raining on my walk to the grocery.
It proceeded to POUR at 6pm (the time of everyone's expected arrival).
Someone stole the top grate from our grill. The very grill that was purchased to replace our OTHER stolen grill.
---Eye for an eye...got a grate...grilling magic happened.

Beer? yes. Meat? yes. Go.

Lover wanted to BBQ with us, but she's a little to crazy for the masses.
